Sports & Physical Education at Trellech
What we do - how we learn
We think PE and school sport is very important here at Trellech and we do this in a number of ways. In PE, Mr Rogers teaches gymnastics and dance to each class which is a great way to make sure that our skills get better year by year and that we build on what we did in the previous year.
We also do quite a lot of inter-school competitions and this year have played football, rugby, netball and hockey against local schools as well as in tournaments. We also have a numer of after-school clubs run by teachers, parents and other adults and experts.
Finally we can develop our sporting skills in some of the courses in Trellech University which we do on a Friday afternoon.
Hockey matches against Usk Primary School
Netball (and football) match against Llandogo Primary
RG6 and the Rugby Team spend a day training at the Gwent Dragons ground in Newport - Nov 2008
