Mr King - Headteacher...

would love to visit Australia or South America.  He particularly enjoys teaching maths because 'Maths is all about rules, patterns and shortcuts.'  He couldn't live without his wife, three children or his USB stick thingy.  One of his most memorable moments was telling Prince Harry off when the prince's school visited his school for a rugby match ("Well I'm sorry, he was being really naughty!").  Brad Pitt and George Clooney are currently arguing about who will play him in the film of his life.

 

 

Mrs Peacock - Assistant Headteacher and RG1 Teacher...

would love to visit the Bahamas.  She enjoys teaching Geography because she likes to find out about lots of different places, likes pasta and couldn't live without a photo of her little girls.  She has had many proud moments as a teacher, all involving pupil achievement, and would choose Julia Roberts to play her in a film.

 

 

Mrs Miles - Assistant Headteacher and Reception Teacher...

would like to visit Barry Island or maybe Brazil.  She enjoys teaching  Art because it's fun, messy, colourful, expressive, uses different media and can be displayed and appreciated by all.  She could not live without her lipstick and high heels and would choose Angelina Jolie to play her in a film.  Her proudest moment as a teacher was in her first job when she had a fostered child in her class who was self mute.  As the year progressed the girl began to speak and after two terms was talking normally and had integrated with her peers.

 

 

Mrs Cotton - Year 1...

would like to visit the Seychelles and enjoys teaching Geography because it opens up the world to the children.  She loves chocolate, could not live without her mobile phone and would choose Meg Ryan to play her in a film.  She was very proud when she qualified as a teacher.

 

 

Mrs Schartz - Year 1 Teacher...

Mrs Schartz would love to go to Thailand because her grandmother lived there during her childhood and Mrs. S grew up listening to her stories and anecdotes about the exotic life there. Her favourite subject to teach is music with maths and she also realy likes maths. If she was stranded on a desert island, she would love to have sudoku puzzle book because she usually does one every day! Her claim to fame is playing a Proms concert with the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Her orchestra were conducted by a very famous conductor called Claudio Abbado and she was very nervous! If they made a film about her life, Helen Hunt would play her.

 

 

Miss Burrows - Year 2 Teacher...

would like to go to New Zealand one day.  She would love to have a genie in a lamp, to grant her every wish!  Her proudest achievement as a teacher was helping a child with behavioural problems to settle into school.  Her favourite food is Cajun chicken, and she would like Cameron Diaz to play her in a film. 

 

 

Mr Rogers - PPA Teacher (all classes)...

would like to visit New Zealand, enjoys eating curry and could not live without his walking boots!  He enjoys teaching maths because he likes working with numbers and has always found it useful throughout life.  He would choose Dustin Hoffman to play him in a film and his proudest moments are when he meets children he has taught and they tell him how well they are doing in life.

 

 

Mrs Pisacane - RG4 Teacher...

would like to tour Italy and sample all the traditional food.  She enjoys teaching story writing because she loves reading and the creative ideas from the children are fun and interesting. Her favourite food is tuna sushi and she could not live without her hair straighteners!  She would like Susan Sarandon to play her in a film.

 

 

Miss Foster RG5 Teacher...

would like to visit Australia one day, as she has friends there who she would like to see.  She enjoys teaching PE because it can involve so many different activities.  She couldn't live without her ipod and would choose Courtney Cox to play her in a film.  Her favourite food is lasagne and her proudest moment as a teacher was helping a really shy child to mix well with others.

 

 

Mr Green - RG6 Teacher...

would like to visit New England in the fall!  He enjoys teaching History as he feels it is important to know where we are from and how the past has shaped the present.  He likes Jelly Babies, could not live without his glasses, and would choose Bart Simpson to play him in a film of his life.  His proudest moments as a teacher are whenever he helps pupils achieve.

 

 

Mrs Davies - Learning Support...

would like to visit New Zealand and enjoys PSE as it touches all subjects.  If she had to survive on one food it would be rice and she could not live without her address/phone book.  Her proudest moments in school are when she shares successes with pupils and she would like Dawn French to play her in a film. 

 

 

Mrs Evans - Learning Support...

would like to visit Italy and enjoys Literacy because she likes reading and talking!  Her favourite food is chocolate and she could not live without central heating.  She feels proud when she sees the children happy at school, ready to learn and she would love Catherine Zeta Jones to play her in the film of her life.

 

 

Mrs Morgan (Reception) - Learning Support...

would like to visit New Zealand and her favourite subject is Music even though she says she can't sing!  She likes cakes, could not live without her washing machine and would have loved Marilyn Monroe to play her in a film of her life.  Her proudest moment in school was when the recorder club played Jingle Bells in assembly. 

 

 

Mrs Morgan (RG6) - Learning Support...

would love to revisit New Zealand with her family and share the experience with them. She would find it very hard to live without music, chocolate and a picture of her family. She is a distant relative of the very successful racehorse trainers - David and Martin Pipe and her claim to fame is that she consoled Andre Agassi following a defeat at the Australian Open! She would like Sandra Bullock to play her in a film!!

 

 

Mrs Bennett - Learning Support...

would like to visit China to see the Terracotta Army. If she was stranded on a desert island she couldn't live without her lipstick. The most marvellous thing she has ever done was swimming with sharks off a small island in the Maldives and she would like Zaraah Abrahams to play her in a film of her life....

 

 

Miss Underwood - Learning Support...

would like to visit Brazil. She started working at Trellech in April 2009 and could not live without her make up and hair straighteners and she would like Jessica Simpson to play her part in the Hollywood blockbuster of her life. Her proudest moment is becoming a Godmother to her cousin Sophie-Jude.

 

 

Mrs Thomas - Learning Support...

would like to visit Antigua.  Her favourite food is chocolate and she could not live without her mobile phone.  She feels proud in school when children come to her for help and she would choose Fiona from Shrek to play her in a film.

 

 

Mrs Worrall - Learning Support and Kids Club Organiser...

would most like to visit Egypt and Ireland.  A talented artist herself, she feels the subject is great for everyone to express themselves creatively and uses it to help children gain confidence and freedom of expression.  She loves avocado and prawn salad, music, paper and paint and would choose Liv Tyler to play her in a film.

 

 

Mrs Appleton - Secretary...

would like to go back to Australia.  If she had to survive on one food it would be Cheese & Onion Pringles, and she could not live without her car or her new husband!!!  She would like Dolly Parton to play her in a musical film of her life. 

 

 

Mrs Richards - Caretaker...

would also like to visit Australia one day and would like to teach Cookery.  If she had to live on just one food it would be fruit and she would like Hayley Mills to play her in a film. 

 

 

Mrs Williams - Cleaner...

would most like to visit Australia too.  She feels that reading is the most important thing to teach children as it opens up a whole world to them.  If she had to live on one type of food it would be fruit or vegetables and she would like Judi Dench to play her in a film.
