	Eden Camp	This is a great place to visit but it is right up in North Yorkshire. It?s officially the most popular tourist site in Yorkshire & a great way to learn about World War 2.

	American eyewitness account of the Pearl Harbour attack	Eyewitness account from a sailor on board the USS Arizona, one of the ships sunk during the attack. Some parts are gory, so be careful.

	A London Evacuee	Like many people of her generation, Vivette's life was turned upside down by the Second War War, not least because at this time many city-dwelling children were evacuated to countryside locations - they were 'taken on' by couples or families and in effect adopted by them until the conflict was over - Vivette and two of her sisters were such evacuees.

	Evacuees' Stories	After war broke out it became too dangerous for many to stay in large cities whilst the German bombing campaign was in action. Millions of people were evacuated into the country for safety.
